What you get.

The app is built for developers who want agent state visible without keeping a hosted dashboard or second chat surface open.

Agent command center

Claude Code and Codex CLI sessions, task state, permission prompts, completion, and usage pressure stay near the top edge of the screen.

Daily token and cost tracking

A Today row tracks token spend and USD cost for Claude and Codex with a 7-day sparkline. Model pricing is bundled and refreshed offline — no API key or cloud upload.

Multiple themes

Choose Rock Legends, F1 2026, AI Moguls, or Crayon Shin-chan themes, then pair them with custom notification sounds or silence.

Flexible display modes

Use the MacBook notch, a simulated island on Macs without a notch, and the same workflow across menu bar and external display setups.

Terminal and hotkey workflow

Use terminal tab jump, a custom global hotkey, compact display selection, and in-app update checks without leaving the current project.

Install.

The public release channel does not require GitHub authentication. Future app update checks can also use the public latest release endpoint.

  1. Download the DMG. Use the primary button on this page or the GitHub Releases page.
  2. Verify the file. Compare SHA256 with `b7cd8f7eb41acb15fe0d14a31e545668dc01e60f8e3794a778ae2535a856c7d9` if your workflow requires checksum validation.
  3. Move ZackEyes to Applications. Open the DMG and drag the app into `/Applications`.
  4. Launch ZackEyes. Start a fresh Claude Code or Codex CLI session so the local hooks can surface events.
